A little rain in Seaford calls a halt to the journey before we even left our houses.

Another high score from the Wanderers but fended off for a draw

Very close entertaining game for all

A good game for all involved apart from the 3/4 Wanderers that got injured during the game. Going down to the final over was a perfect way to end a good game.

We all witnessed a special moment when our skipper Jamie Hyde heaved another boundary to reach the amazing score of 203 not out - his innings was remarkable and one of the best I have seen (and I have been around a long time - too long some would say). I shared a little partnership with him of 39 and I could see then he was in good form - he shared other partnerships with Prashant and Mr One Shot (Taylor).

To say the other side looked demoralised was an understatement! He reached his 200 in a bit of a daze as we were applauding him to declare which he did eventually. In the field he then took 2 good catches. Why the rest of us were playing we don’t know!!!!  Seriously though it was a fantastic knock which will take some beating - an historic moment for the club and Jamie (but maybe not for Gemma???

Well done to young Marcus who got 2 wickets and bowled very well

So we scored 270/7 - Oh yes we won!!!!!!! Well done skip!!!!!!!!
