Finally we have confirmed the dates and times of the nets.

Every week at Plumpton College as normal at 2.45 SHARP! Please get there to start at 2.45 so that I can plan the session and get a batting lineup sorted or it can put the entire hour into termoil.

1st net - 12th February 2012 for 9 weeks with the 10th on the same day as the interclub match.

The AGM went off without a hitch but due to technical difficulties with Anthony Higgs' computers the minutes are stuck in limbo.

However a new committee was voted for as is a follows;

Club Captain - Jamie Hyde

Vice Captain - Luke Smith

Treasurer - David Noakes

Club Secretary - Anthony Higgs

Fixture Secretary - Gemma Manvell

Returning Chairman - Antony Preston

Ex-Officio - Jeremy Preston

So until the official minutes have been released from Anthony's computer, this is all i have to offer.

This year's AGM will take place at Brighton & Hove Golf Club (Devils Dyke Road) at 3pm on Sunday November 6^th. As last year, the golf club has a dress code of collar and no jeans. If you won a trophy last year please bring it along to the AGM so we can get it engraved before the annual dinner.

The club rules can be viewed by logging into the SWCC club website at www.swcricket.com/club-rules and any proposed changes to the rules must reach Anthony before the AGM is held. The committee does not propose any rule changes this year.

If you wish to nominate anyone new as Club President, a Vice-President or a Life Member, please remember to inform the Committee before the AGM as per rule 14.

There is a potential vacancy for the post of Fixtures Secretary. Kim is willing to train his prospective replacement so please register your interest with him or Anthony if you can help the club in this role.
