The Wanderers put the recent bad weather dissapointments behind them to record yet another victory after an entertaining 30 over a side match at Jevington. The two skippers agreed for the shorted format due to the impending darkness, the state of the wicket, and the fact that Jevington never ever seem to turn up on time!  The match that was scheduled for 1.45pm eventually started at 2.10pm with Jevington deciding to bat.

Jevington amassed a total of 117 in their 30 overs, which seemed a good score as it's a poor wicket, a large ground and the wet outfield was doing a great job of turning 4s into 2s.

The Wanderers knocked the runs off with a spirited batting performance, and everyone except Dave Field was required, Kim scoring 3 in the first two balls of the 30th and final over to edge us over the line.

More details will appear here when I can get hold of the scorebook!
