Southwick Wanderers Cricket Club have been playing Cricket in Sussex since 1927.
We are a friendly club who play our home games at the picturesque grounds of
Plumpton College nestled just north of the South Downs between Ditching and
Lewes.
Here is a photo of some of the 1937 Wanderers in Southwick.
The Wanderers played on the Green for many years, but those of you who know the
area will know that it’s a tiny ground, not really suitable for the modern day six-hitters
like Mssrs Noakes and Preston Junior !
Since then we have played at Steyning Grammar School, Falmer University and many
Brighton Council pitches before settling in at Plumpton Agricultural College where we
have been full time for a few years now.
